$$30,000
The Project
Rotary Club of Montréal, in partnership with the Rotary E-Club Premier 7040, is undertaking a new Water Project in Ghana. This Global Grant # GG21-18484 with a total cost of $134,780 will impact over 20,625 beneficiaries. This project consist of the drilling of 14 new boreholes, the repair of 38 hand pumps and the building of 60 Microflush toilets.
The Primary Contact, Marc Mauger from the Rotary E-Club Premier 7040 (International Club), is the project manager and does the paper work. The Host Club will be the Rotary Club of Bolgatanga Goodwill, with whom we carried out a major water project in 2018 under the management of John Azam. The Project Leader is Walter Hughes, of the Rotary Club of Rocky Mount in Virginia, who has already completed more than 30 water projects over the last 13 years in Ghana.
The Rotary Club of Montréal, has raised most of the project funding, however there still is a shortfall of $30,000. Please contact Jean Gagnon (jeangagnon@yahoo.ca) from the Rotary Club on Montréal if you are able to help financially in this new big-impact project?
